PROJECT SCOPE //
Restoration
In the winter of 2022, tragedy struck a picturesque Hamptons residence when it fell victim to a devastating flood. The homeowner, faced with the daunting challenge of rebuilding their sanctuary, turned to us to not only restore what was lost but to elevate the space to new heights of elegance and sophistication. The four bedroom, four bathroom residence sits on a private cul-de-sac near the center of Bridgehampton . Most of the home was lost in the flood but our design philosophy of
"redefining timeless" focused on maintaining the character of the original home while bringing modern luxuries to the restoration. The original terracotta floors could not be salvaged but both the owner and Andrea loved the idea of paying homage to this detail by installing new terracotta tile floors in an updated motif. A soapstone fireplace and new built-ins add ambiance to the living room while the dining room was given a new bar of natural white oak for entertaining. White oak details are found throughout the home in the flooring, ceiling design and cabinetry. The kitchen was outfitted with a new custom metal hood in black and brass with quartz counters to counterbalance the original wood-burning fireplace.
