A dream house built high on a hilltop for a family's forever home - a focus on family and clean lines led the design direction for this beautiful project.

Our clients are a young family -- they added a baby while we were working on the home! -- who decided to leave New York City a bit earlier than they planned during the Covid-19 pandemic. They purchased a beautiful, traditional white Colonial home in New Jersey, and wanted to give it a fresh, NYC-spin while maintaining the traditional East Coast style.

This new build was constructed with the most careful attention to detail and was a true collaboration with the entire team - architect, builder and homeowner. We were brought into the project in its earliest architectural development stage and had our hands in just about every decision until move-in day!

Our client wanted a California-meets-NYC design with a laid-back vibe and pop art touches. We designed each room to be beautiful and comfortable for this fun young family. We even created a custom game room, the “Aspen Room,” to be their homebody game room that feels like you just walked in off the slopes to hang out Apres-ski.

One of the most enjoyable projects to date - and not just because it is the home of one of Andrea's besties. This family loves to cook and entertain and is - obviously - not afraid of color. Their love of modern amenities, taking risks and vintage rugs were a match made in heaven for us.

We helped this young family transform a classic colonial with great potential to a home with great functionality. The changes in flow and appearance were significant, even though we only added 400 square feet of usable space. Expanding the family room was a top priority for this family that loves to hang out together and entertain friends. We also enlarged the kitchen and added a breakfast area, mudroom, bathroom, patio, and butler’s pantry + bar built custom for the husband, the resident dinner party bartender.

The owners of this home wanted to open up the footprint while maintaining the architectural details. We opened up the kitchen to include the formal dining area and a peek into the family room. We converted a third garage bay into a mudroom and butlers pantry to give them more useful space.

These clients wanted their home to have a beachy feel and enough charm to be featured in a Serena + Lily catalog. We renovated the entire interior, adding a wing that includes a new master bedroom and bathroom. We added a covered patio and a large vaulted ceiling family room and reconfigured the kids’ upstairs bedrooms.

For this house, we were tasked with creating a serene sanctuary for a hard-working couple with high-stress jobs. We added ceiling details and custom furnishings to give them a spa-like experience they could return to day after day.
